What is massage therapy, and how can it help me?
"Massage therapy involves manipulation of a person's soft tissue and this manipulation of soft tissues should be performed for a therapeutic purpose: maintaining, rehabilitating, and augmenting physical function, or by relieving pain and promoting health."

Massage therapy has many benefits, beyond general relaxation. Such benefits can include improving posture, relieving pain, rehabilitation of chronic injuries, improving mobility for sport-related activities, aid in physical recovery, or assist in getting a good night's sleep.
DO YOU PROVIDE DIRECT BILLING?
We currently do not provide direct billing. We accept payment up front, and provide a receipt afterwards. You can then submit the receipt to your insurer. You may need to manually enter the provider details, if it is the first time your insurance company is receiving claims from this therapist/clinic location. This is a normal part of the claim submission process. Please ensure you contact your insurance provider prior to booking to ensure you understand your coverage. We thank you for your understanding!

WHAT SHOULD I EXPECT FROM MY FIRST SESSION?
In order to ensure your goals are understood and addressed, a short intake will be done at the beginning of the session, which may include some physical assessment. After treatment, self-care may be prescribed in the form of stretches or exercises, and a treatment plan will be discussed.
HOW SHOULD I PREPARE FOR MY FIRST TREATMENT?
Aside from knowing what hurts, some other helpful preparations may include considering what your goals for treatment may be, further than eliminating pain. You may also attend the clinic in athletic wear to assist in movement assessment. If you are attending for a deep tissue massage, be well hydrated.
WHAT IS THE CANCELLATION POLICY?
Life happens - we understand. As a small business, we want to be as flexible as possible to accommodate all of our patients. We kindly ask you to provide a minimum of 24 hours notice of your scheduled appointment.

Any cancellations or rescheduling less than 24 hours before the scheduled appointment time will be charged 50% of the treatment fee.
DO YOU PROVIDE MVA OR WSIB TREATMENTS?
We do not provide MVA or WSIB treatments. If you have sustained injuries from a car accident, or from a work-related incident, please contact the appropriate representatives.
